Better Prepared for Success: Real-World Skills and Knowledge You Can Use Every Day to Thrive in College
This high-level, interactive program was created because many motivated, talented teenagers enter
college without the real-world communication and business skills essential for success. The
curriculum was created with input from college professors, who identified the skills they want incoming students to possess, business leaders, who identified the skills they want in interns and new hires, and young professionals, who told us the skills they wish they had learned in high school. Your student will acquire the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their goals, maximize opportunities and handle new challenges with less stress. They will develop stronger public speaking, communication, collaboration and feedback skills, develop greater presence and expand their comfort zone in new situations such as participating in classroom discussions, meeting with professors and resolving conflict. They will feel better prepared for the college transition.
This two session program will take place on 8/15 & 8/17 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM in the Brookline Teen Center conference room. For more information on pricing or to register, contact Bruce Campbell at email@example.com.
Presence and Public Speaking
Imagine your student speaking with fewer ‘ums’, ‘ahs’ and ‘likes’. That is just one positive outcome of attending Presence and Public Speaking. The program is focused on helping young people expand their comfort zone, develop advanced skills and build greater presence while learning the importance of constructive feedback. Students experience the same high-level, fun learning process we use when coaching successful young professionals and executives. Your student will quickly begin developing skills and strategies they can use every day to more assertively participate in classroom discussions, demonstrate stronger leadership in sports and other extracurricular activities and speak more clearly and persuasively in presentations and interpersonal communication.
This two session program will take place on 9/19 & 9/26 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM in the Brookline Teen Center conference room. For more information on pricing or to register, contact Bruce Campbell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
