Passionate about fighting Islamophobia? Worried about the Trump administration’s repeal of immigrant protections? Think Brookline needs to push harder to undo centuries of ingrained racism? Want to make climate justice a reality at the local policy level? Let’s get to work.
Join Boston Mobilization Thursday evenings from 4-6pm at the BTC. Project BTC’s mission is to further Brookline youth-led movements for social justice through community organizing and peer education. Project BTC is the place to turn your revolutionary ideas into strategic campaigns pushing the local Brookline community one step closer toward liberation. We will engage in education for social justice and develop our own local community organizing campaign. Together we will explore the intersections of racial justice, economic justice, and gender justice in our own lives and communities through the lens of youth power.
At Project BTC you’ll have the opportunity to lead a series of social justice workshops for Brookline 6th-8th graders and practice your skills as an educator. You will also lead the community organizing campaign we’ll work on through February-June and practice your activism skills through experience.
