SPARTAN RACE is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty ranging from 3 miles to marathon distances. In 2012, they were voted Outside Magazine’s “BEST OBSTACLE RACE”.
OBSTACLES FREQUENTLY INCLUDE: Fire Jump, Barbed Wire Crawl, Over-Under-Through, Spear Throw, Wall Climb, Object Carry, Herculean Hoist, Tryolean Traverse, Slippery Wall, Gladiator Arena and Rope Climb.
SPARTAN and the BROOKLINE TEEN CENTER have partnered together to increase teen participation in Spartan races. The BTC will provide the team with a FREE 10-week training program and they will participate in the Fenway Park Sprint (Stadium) Race on Saturday, November 7, 2015.
Distance: 3 mile race
Terrain: Fenway may look pretty, but Spartan Race has found it’s most remote corners and it’s most grueling climbs. You’ll throw, jump, crawl and climb on every level of the Ball Park.
