Think, Make, Print: Introduction to 3D Printing: This class is designed to teach students the basics principles and mechanics behind operating a 3D printer safely and confidently. This course covers the key elements for understanding how a 3D Printer works, types of materials to print, how to access 3D printing files, and how to get files ready for printing. Students will also learn some basic methods for 3D modeling. This class is intended to generate excitement and enthusiasm for students interested in learning more about 3D Printers, and ready them for higher tier courses which place more emphasis on learning to 3D model. The class is taught by Brookline Teen Center’s Makerspace Youth Leader, Noah Lewkowitz.

  • This class runs for 5 Tuesdays  from 6:30pm – 7:30pm beginning October 10th and ending on November 14th.  There is no class on 10/31 (Halloween).
  • This class is for 6th-8th grade students, and is capped at 5 students.
  • There is no fee for this class, but students must be a BTC member to participate.
