Since it’s opening in September of 2013, the Brookline Teen Center’s Music Studio has been hosting Open Mics and concerts, instructing students on audio engineering and DJ’ing, and recording countless songs for 7th-12th graders. Our state-of-the-art music recording studio is comprised of a control room and live room that allows for music production, audio engineering, jam sessions, songwriting, DJ’ing and more. Members are encouraged to create and record music, hone their craft and organize music related events. Whether it’s recording a debut album, getting training to operate Pro Tools as an audio engineer, or promoting and hosting an Open Mic, all members with an interest in music are welcome to get involved.
