The Mission of Brookline Robotics

Brookline Robotics seeks to engage middle school students in STEM and robotics. Through our First Lego League teams, we aim to teach students the basics and beyond of robotics and programming through a hands-on, investigative approach. We’re open to any experience level, novice to expert! Last year, our teams won the Strategy and Innovation Award at the Revere FLL Qualifier.

Brookline Robotics is made possible by the support of many enthusiastic high school volunteers, adult volunteers, and the support of the award-winning robotics team FRC 125, the NUTRONs, who have created or mentored robotics programs in Revere, Dorchester, and Jamaica Plain.

First Lego League Teams

Description: Beginning in September, students will be placed into teams of 6-7 students. They will work on a lego robot to address the First Lego League Game Challenge of the season and a project which they will present to judges aimed at solving a real world prompt. Program ends with students bringing their answer to the game challenge to the Revere FLL Qualifier competition in December. Laptop strongly recommended. Spots will be filled on a first come first served basis. Open to rising 7th and 8th graders (current 6th/7th graders).
